Nick Jotischky, Analyst

Nick is a Principal Analyst within Informa Telecoms & Media’s Industry Research division.

In this role Nick co-manages Informa Telecoms & Media’s wireless research team. His research agenda focuses on emerging market growth, examining key market drivers and trends in some of the world’s fastest growing mobile markets.

Nick has 8 years experience in the telecoms sector as an analyst. Prior to joining Informa Telecoms & Media, he spent seven years at the specialist political and economic risk research house Business Monitor International, where he headed up the telecoms research unit. In that role, he assessed key emerging market investment opportunities in the telecoms sector, and produced several market reports to an audience of operators, vendors, solutions providers and financial institutions. Nick also had a brief spell with boutique research consultancy Kable, where he wrote a thought leadership report on public sector opportunities in the ICT sector.

Katja Mueller, Analyst

Katja is a Senior Research Analyst working in Informa TM’s Data & Forecasting division, providing expert analysis for WCIS+ (World Cellular Information System). In this role, she closely tracks mobile operator performance and technology migration issues within Western European country and formulates ideas that assist in forecasting key trends within individual markets. Her findings are published as brief market updates across WCIS+, the Intelligence Centre and MCE services.

Before joining Informa, Katja has worked for many years in the telecoms sector as an analyst and information product manager. She is regularly invited to speak and moderate at telecoms industry and academic conferences to promote an open and research-intensive approach to understanding global telecoms trends. In her earlier work at Point Topic, a UK-based broadband research company, she has headed a number of consultancy projects for broadband service providers.

Katja holds a MSc degree in Geographical Information Science from the University of Leicester and a PhD in Oriental Studies from Cambridge University. She was awarded several national awards for her past geographical research and is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
